Plenty of structured glass allows for gorgeous views of the Colorado mountains in the distance, while also allowing the sun to easily aid in warming the residence during cold winters. Exposed industrial beams have been muted with warmer teak pieces, while steel, cable railings finish the open deck.

A sparse and industrial interior combines elegantly with brighter hardwood flooring, while unfinished steel beams in the roof define the original forms of the shipping containers. Indoor/outdoor flow is simplified with large panels of moving glass, while a significant overhang provides outdoor protection from the afternoon sun.

Telluride, Colorado

The basic structure of this unique residence is made of multiple recycled shipping containers, utilizing "green practices" while also maintaining an industrial element that is carried throughout the space. Featuring an expanded corner section made entirely of glass, vertical teak beams that line the exterior, and an expansive outdoor patio, this home is primed for contemporary Colorado living.
